Start your half-day in an authentic family winery. Meet the winemaker, visit his estate and of course taste a selection of his wines.
We will then take the wine route, with its beautiful hills covered with vines. You will observe the variety of sceneries that produces so many different well-known wines. An exceptional geology that allows the region to be listed as a geopark in 2018. Thanks to your wine-passionate driver-guide you will learn everything about the wine-making process and understand the meaning of the French word “terroir”. The tour will end in a Cru village where you meet a winemaker who will tell you about his work and show you his estate before welcoming you in the wine-cellar for a tasting.

Okay wine tour but the vineyard needs changing
by tourists abroad
Was a delightful tour to see a bit of the French countryside. The visit to the market was interesting. The guide was lovely however he needs to be more engaging with the tour group as you are left at times to standaround with no engagement. The vineyard should be changed as the wine wasn't that good. The setting is beautiful, but you really need the wine to make this a great tour. No one from our group purchased any wine, which was a reflection.

Not Worth the Money

The tour wasn't much of a tour. The car ride to each site was long and very awkward as the guide didn't talk at all. When we got to the vineyard/castle, the "tour" was an audioguide, and the tasting continued to be awkward as the host didn't explain the wines and we sat there in silence. Also, you do not taste 19 wines like the description says. It's more like 6. Overall, I wouldn't do the tour again and was very disappointed in the experience.

I am deeply sorry to read that this excusion was not up to your expectations. It stills one of our best sellers.
Nevertheless, at this time of harvest, it is true that sometimes, our vine growers are very busy and therefore less available during the visits of domains.

Essential discovery of Beaujolais wines

We booked the half day version of the tour. Our guide picked us up from the Place Bellecour, right next to the Tourist Office in Lyon. We can say that the guide was very friendly and informative, and explained the facts behind the Beaujolais region and why it is as it is today.
After an enjoyable light morning taste of a few Beaujolais wines, while watching over the valleys, we visited the old (medieval origin) village of Oingt (mind the pronounciation!! ) and later headed to the highlight of the tour: the winery and the real & serious wine-tasting. If you are a wine lover, we definately recommend this tour.
