On this tour you will visit a typical farm close to Lyon where you will discover a world of authenticity and sharing. In the heart of one of the best vineyards in France, you will discover that everything is made by hand, in a traditional way. You will see that happy animals make good cheese!
After this full-immersion in the heart of the lyon vineyard and countryside, we will drive to a wine estate nearby.
Welcomed by the winemaker himself, you will again experience the same friendly atmosphere of this area when you do a wine tasting with a winemaker who is truly passionate about his job. To accompany the wines you will taste other local cheeses paired with each wine.

I enjoyed the wine and cheese tour with Julie and learned a lot.
The only issue I had was that we did not have cool air to the back of the van and it was quite hot.

The tour I booked was really nice, seeing some of the area outside the city enjoying local wine and cheese without having to drive and finding the way myself. Since I confused the dates I was really happy the guide called and the group waited for 10 minutes for me to get to the meeting point. I am very grateful for that!
Fantastic half day wine tour

This tour was fabulous! While on business in Lyon this half day adventure fit perfect into our schedule. We visited two wineries and tasted more than 5 wines at each winery. We toured the vineyards and production areas to learn about wine making. We also saw some of the amazing Rhône valley. Julie was professional but also kind and helpful at every stop.
Perfect half-day trip

We had so much fun during the half-day trip to the Côte-de-Rhône area. Julie had much knowledge to share with us about the wine, the cheese and the overall area. You could really tell that she cares about the local producers and the wonderful landscape. The wine and cheese tasting was very well organised and of course - delicious!
Amazing Wine Tour with Julie

My wife and I came to France for our Anniversary last November and decided to book a wine tour as part of our trip so that we could visit some wineries that aren't quite so touristy. I'm so glad that we booked our trip with Julie. She picked perfect wineries for us to visit and a wonderful place to eat lunch. We even went to visit a goat farm where the also make the goat cheese. Overall it was a wonderful day and I'd recommend Julie to anyone who is looking to do a wine tour in the Rhone Valley.
Family trip with Julie

Julie arranged a nice trip for the three of us. It was Easter Monday so not many farms were open. We had a lovely trip to a goat farm and a small wine farm. On the way back to Lyon Julie tool us to a nice place in Vienne for a beautiful scene over the river.
