Do you like cheese and wine pairing ?You will discover the fabulous wine of the Northern Rhône Valley and another local speciality, which is certainly worth the trip for people who love “food & wine“ matching : the Rigotte de Condrieu, a goat cheese with a subtle and fragrant taste !
You will drive through the legendary Côte-Rôtie land and the Pilat Natural Regional Park. Not far from Lyon, this world of authenticity and sharing will reveal itself.
After climbing the steep hills (aboard the minibus, of course!) of one of the oldest French vineyards, we will stop in a typical farm of the Pilat Park, where you will have the chance to meet a producer.
A look at the goats of course before leaving the farm with some delicious cheese, which you will match with the wine of a winery nearby.You will be delighted to taste 5 different local wines to pair.Your taste buds will remember the taste of the Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph (best wines of our area) and the wonderful local cheese for a while !

The name of this cheese is derived from the terms ‘Rigol’ or ‘Rigot’, which refer to the many streams that descend the slopes of the Pilat massif. It is made using know-how that has been handed down over the generations.
