At sunset, Lyon takes on a radiance of its own… So hop on board the Hermès boat-restaurant for a romantic gourmet dinner cruise. br />Set sail and sip a homemade cocktail then enjoy the charms of dinner on the river as you marvel at Lyon's passing heritage sites, all decked in lights.
Meanwhile, the comments will tell you all about the sites and their history. From the Rhône, you'll be crossing the confluence to admire the contemporary Confluence district, and the daring architecture of its museum before sailing on up the Saône, along the banks of historic districts, and all the way to Île Barbe.

We booked a dinner Cruise leaving 20.30 with Hermes II. Brand new great boat with good service. Good food also. 2,5h on the river with great views and well spoken English guided tour. Great way too see the city and enjoy good dinner at the same time. Definitely a must if you visit Lyon for the first time.
Romantic dinner cruise on the Rhone

The boat serves an excellent 4-course dinner. While eating a lovely dinner, you cruise along the Rhone and the Saone. A discreet loud speaker describes Lyon history and famous sites. This is an excellent way to discover the city of Lyon. There is also a lunch cruise to see the sights by daylight. The dinner cruise is 3 hours long from 8:30 pm thru 11:30 pm. Highly recommended!
