The most sensual vineyard in France!
Let’s go to the north of Lyon to discover a very nice wine region with small hills and a light, fruity and gourmet wine full of character.
You will head north for the Beaujolais route of the Crus, you will be able to observe the variety of landscapes that adds to the richness of this terroir. The 10 Crus follow and touch each other but none is the same, each one has its specificity and unique taste. Come and taste several of them side by side, you will be surprised!
After driving through lovely villages surrounded by vines and rolling hills, you will visit a local wine estate. You will immediately be immersed in the friendly atmosphere of Beaujolais when you will meet the winemaker producer. You will taste a selection of delicate red and white wines.
For lunch, you will decide! We will make sure to reserve a table in a local restaurant, but not mandatory, if you would like to bring your picnic or other.
After lunch, you will push the door of a Chateau, where you will taste other wines with this beautiful red cherry colour and flavors of red currant, blackberry and raspberry. You will get to learn more about the vinification process, the characteristics of the grape varieties and the particularities of each cru.

Eddy gave our group of six an entertaining and informative full day, including two winery visits, one showing us the inner workings. Optional lunch at the second winery was good too. Scenery excellent. J’avais l’occasion à pratiquer un peu mon français.

Our guide, Matilde was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly, drove us through beautiful villages surrounded by vineyards. We learned a lot about the wine of the area and the 10 crus. She also picked for lunch an excellent local restaurant and she had a surprise for us, but we will not reveal it!
We really enjoyed this full day trip to the North of Lyon!
