Lovely trip with excellent guide
by gordon
Had a lovely trip through the Beaujolais countryside visiting a very nice vineyard and having the wine making process explained to us. Sampled some excellent wines and cheese with the option to buy some if desired. Visited some very pretty towns and villages, and had a lovely lunch in a picturesque setting, finally culminating in a tour of Perouges. Our guide was excellent and I would definitely recommend this tour if visiting Lyon.

A change of Heart.

My first visit to France, I arrived thinking that my favourite wine was from Cote du Rhone but following these two journeys I swapped my allegiance to Beaujolaise. Both tour guides were excellent and perhaps the trip to Beaujolaise was the best. Thank you Olivier, sorry Justin not that there was a problem.
Good location!

Nice Day Trip from Lyon
by apple
Although we have gone on other trips outside of Lyon on our own, it was really nice not to have to worry about all the logistics ourselves and just be taken care of by the tour guide. There was 7 of us - a nice size group. Along the way to the wine tasting, the tour guide made a couple of stop overs so we could take some photos of the beautiful landscape/castle etc. We had a quick tour of Oingt, a small village. We then had the wine tasting at a small winery that had been around for 8 generations. It was great and we all enjoyed Etienne's wine. We had lunch at a bistro - good food with reasonable pricing. The last stop was Perouges. All in all, everyone in the group had a wonderful time and I would recommend this to others. The cost was 105euros for the 8 hour trip.
