70 Boulevard des Etats-Unis, Lyon 8th

"Les Etats-Unis"

A few days after the United States entered the war in 1917, the Lyon city council named the new boulevard connecting La Guillotière to Vénissieux "Boulevard des Etats-Unis." The district therefore naturally takes its name, in homage to this new ally.
